Levellers are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their seminal album Levelling The Land with a 17-date UK tour.
The folk-punk legends will play the now-classic record in full, along with other hits and songs from their Top 10 album Peace, released last year.
Several dates were postponed from 2020 due to the pandemic, with extra shows now announced in Newcastle, Plymouth, Manchester, London, Birmingham, Glasgow and Cardiff.
Levelling The Land, the band’s second album, redefined the UK’s musical landscape when it was released in the summer of 1991.
It features the hit singles One Way, 15 Years and Far From Home, plus fan favourites like Another Man’s Cause, Boatman and Battle Of The Beanfield.
The Levellers were formed in Brighton in 1988, taking their name from a political movement from the English Civil War.
Levelling The Land entered the charts at No 14, and they became popular with the travelling and indie music community.
They reached the peak of their popularity in 1994, when an estimated 300,000 people saw their headline set at Glastonbury Festival.
Continuing to record and tour, last year’s 12th album Peace was their most successful in more than 20 years, peaking at No 8.
The line-up still includes original members Mark Chadwick, Jeremy Cunningham, Charlie Heather and Jon Sevink, plus long-time members Simon Friend and Matt Savage.
