Liverpool-based noise-merchants Death Blooms have today released a spleen-venting new single as the latest taste of their forthcoming EP.

Fuck Everything is the rage-filled title track of the five-song release, which is due out on March 17 via Adventure Cat Records.

It pretty much sums up the frustrations many people have felt over the past year, and will appeal to fans of metal, hardcore, nu metal, pop-punk and most of the myriad of subgenres in-between.

Death Blooms have been making waves since 2017, when they self-released their debut self-titled EP. A second release, the You Are Filth EP, in 2019, brought attention from the likes of Kerrang!, Rock Sound and the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show.

They’ve also toured with Insane Clown Posse, Korn’s Jonathan Davis, and Skindred, but don’t imagine that they’re just nu metal revivalists – there’s much more to them that that.

Vocalist Paul Barrow says of Fuck Everything: “It’s about being completely lost and disillusioned; and being fucking angry about it. We’re constantly force-fed lies and hatred by everything around us.

“Our elected politicians do not give a fuck about us, we’re overworked to survive, our friends and family lie to us and we lie to ourselves. This song is about fighting back and learning to trust yourself and how you feel.”

“This EP seems like the right amount of spit and bile to sum up everyone’s current frustrations in musical form at this present moment.”
