Brighton ska-punks The Bar Stool Preachers have today released another taste of their long-awaited third album.
All Turned Blue is the second track shared from Above The Static, which will be released on March 31.
The first was Call Me On The Way Home, which was released on the eve of the band’s triumphant return to Rebellion Festival in Blackpool, where they have become firm favourites.
The band, who have signed to Pure Noise Records (home of Less Than Jake, The Bouncing Souls and Spanish Love Songs), will be touring the UK to promote the album.
Formed in 2014, they have built a growing fanbase in the UK, EU and US the old fashioned way – steady touring, with gigs arranged around their day jobs.
Tom McFaull on vocals, Bungle on bass, guitarists Tom Gibbs and Karl Smith, Alex D. Hay on keyboards and Whibs on drums play an infectious brand of ska-inflected streetpunk.
They have two excellent albums to their name already, 2016’s debut Blatant Propaganda and 2018’s follow-up Grazie Governo.
Above The Static has been made with the help of three producers: Kevin Bivona (The Interrupters), Ted Hutt (Dropkick Murphys/Flogging Molly) and Ben Hannah (Nosebleed).
