Glam-punks Dirt Box Disco are back with a new single which fairly sums up the last couple of years.
Fuck Me It’s All Gone Wrong was released to streaming services and as a digital download on December 17 on Avenue Recordz.
For those who prefer music in physical form, the song will be available on vinyl on a split 7in with Issue 13 of Safety Pin magazine, which is out in January.
Written by frontman Spunk Volcano, Fuck Me… is the band’s first new offering since their eighth album TV Sex Show (reviewed here) was released in April 2020.
It’s a punk rock banger which leans towards a Motorhead sound in places, and is sure to go down a storm when the boys play it live.
From playing gigs in the backrooms of pubs, Dirt Box Disco have become a band whose annual appearance at the Rebellion Festival in Blackpool has become one of the highlights of the whole weekend.
On this evidence, there’s a lot more to look forward to from them yet.
