DeeCracks, a punk band from Vienna in Austria, have announced they will be releasing a new album, Serious Issues, on March 12.
The album – their fourth full-length – will be released by US label Pirates Press Records, and is the follow-up to their 2018 full-length Sonic Delusions.
Formed in 2003 as The Cretins, they changed their name to DeeCracks in 2007 after parting company with a couple of members and being threatened with a lawsuit.
Now a three-piece comprising Matt (guitar and vocals), Paul (bass) and Mike (drums), they have played nearly 1,000 shows around the world.
Their last album saw them tour relentlessly, including supporting the legendary CJ Ramone for a month in Europe on his farewell tour, opened for NOFX in Vienna on their Punk In Drublic tour, and played Brakrock and Pouzza Fest, among others.
While the pandemic has brought their touring to a shuddering halt, they’ve stayed busy behind the scenes, making music videos and live studio content for fans to enjoy in the coming months.
Serious Issues is another step forward for the hard-working band, as this new album is what fans have come to expect – 16 tracks of fast-paced punk with catchy melodies and singalong choruses.
Attention! Deficit Disorder, their first album as DeeCracks, came out in 2010, and after a live studio split 12in with The Murderburgers in 2012, second LP Beyond Medication followed in 2014.
