Philadelphia punks The Menzingers have today announced the release date for their eagerly awaited eighth studio album, Everything I Ever Saw.
The record, which is the follow-up to 2023’s Some Of It Was True (reviewed here), will arrive on 17 July via Epitaph.
Today, the band also shared the album’s lead track, Chance Encounters, which is available on all streaming platforms and has its own music video.
It’s the second track from the album to be shared, following Nobody Heroes back in February.

Vocalist/guitarist Tom May said: “So much changed in our lives and in the world while we were making this record, and somehow, it all pulled us deeper into the band and deeper into our friendship.
“Twenty years in and this is the most connected we’ve felt to what we’re doing.
“I’d always heard ‘bigger kids, bigger problems,’ and there’s truth in that, but there’s also bigger answers and deeper meaning. There’s a kind of hard-won hope you can only find on the other side of real change.
“In all the uncertainty of life and the world it’s easy to go straight to cynical. Easy to say fuck it all. With Everything I Ever Saw, we wanted to lean into all of it, head on. The whole damn thing.”

The album is available for pre-order/pre-save today HERE, with several limited edition vinyl colour variants available in the band’s store HERE.
Recorded with longtime collaborator and Grammy Award-winning producer Will Yip (Turnstile, Mannequin Pussy) at his new Memory Music Studios in Philadelphia, PA, Everything I Ever Saw is an album forged in the wake of life-altering change, where marriage, divorce, loss, and growth collide with a renewed creative urgency.
The Menzingers are heading overseas for a short run of festival appearances, including UK dates at Slam Dunk Festival in Hatfield on May 23 and Leeds on May 24.
The Menzingers are Greg Barnett (vocals, guitar), Tom May (vocals, guitar), Eric Keen (bass) and Joe Godino (drums).
