Rising cross-genre punks Millie Manders And The Shut Up have announced a headline tour for April and May 2026.
Back To The FuTour will see them play 15 gigs around the UK, with support from Death Trails and All Ears Avow.
They were due to hit the road this month as support to Bow Wow Wow, but reluctantly had to pull out of the dates for reasons which remain unexplained.
Knowing that many of their own fans had bought tickets, they have quickly arranged their own dates for April/May 2026. Tickets are available now from www.millie-manders.com
“Having been left with no option other than to pull out of a long-run support tour, our winter became a bit of a wasteland,” said Millie.
“We wanted to get back to working as a headline touring band, hence our Back To The FuTour was born. We are delighted to have Death Trails and All Ears Avow joining us – two bands we love working with, who we know our fans will love too.”
MMATSU’s cross-genre punk rock has become increasingly hard to ignore in recent years, due to Millie’s staggering vocal dexterity and her band’s grinding guitars and locked-in rhythm section.
They have two albums to their name, 2020’s Telling Truths, Breaking Ties (reviewed here) and last year’s Wake Up, Shut Up, Work (reviewed here), but they’re best enjoyed live, where they’re renowned for their power and contagious energy.
The band’s lyrics address themes of loss, betrayal, anxiety, heartbreak and bitterness, anger, environmental catastrophe and political unrest, but their songs retain huge pop appeal.
As well as the headline tour, Millie Manders And The Shut Up are looking to release their eagerly anticipated third album in 2026.
