Irish punk legends Stiff Little Fingers have today announced their eagerly-awaited March 2025 tour dates.
Dubbed the Flame In The Heart tour, it consists of nine shows, with the centrepiece being the annual St Patrick’s Day gig at the Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow.
The special guests for the tour will be Ricky Warwick & The Fighting Hearts (featuring The Almighty, Black Star Riders and Thin Lizzy frontman Ricky Warwick).
The title of the tour is a nod to the SLF song Strummerville, written about the legendary Joe Strummer of The Clash.
SLF frontman Jake Burns explained: “The opening line to the song is ‘You lit a flame in my heart,‘ and it still stands as strong today as it did when I wrote it.
“Joe was a legend and a huge influence on myself and the band, so calling the current tour Flame In The Heart keeps Joe in everyone’s memory, and of course, we’ll be playing Strummerville, as always.”
Tickets for the March 2025 Flame In The Heart tour go on sale at 10am Friday 1st November, with ticket links available through the band’s website at SLF.rocks
Burns and bandmates Ali McMordie (bass), Steve Grantley (drums) and Ian McCallum (guitar) have scaled back their touring in the last couple of years, so tickets are certain to sell fast. Go for it!
