Punk music lovers have just a few days left to snap up early bird tickets for Rebellion Festival 2020.
It might be nearly 11 months away, but the planning is well underway for Rebellion Festival 2020 at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. The organisers have already confirmed 39 bands for the event, which will take place from Thursday, August 6 to Sunday, August 9.
Early bird weekend tickets, priced £155 – typically a saving of about £20 on the full price – are available until this Sunday, 29 September, from www.rebellionfestivals.com. From Monday, 30 September the price goes up to £165.
Although the memories, the hangovers and the sore feet of this August’s hugely-successful festival are still vivid, the Rebellion Family are already hard at work planning next year’s event.
2019 saw one of the best line-ups yet, with iconic acts from every corner of the globe rubbing shoulders with a multitude of thrilling up and comers. Although it’s very early days, the bands confirmed for the 2020 event already include some surprises and many returning favourites. Jimmy Pursey’s legendary herberts Sham 69 will be returning to the festival for the first time since 2015, while former Crass frontman Steve Ignorant will be performing a full set of the anarcho-punk legends’ finest moments.
Also returning are The Dickies, Angelic Upstarts, GBH, Anti-Nowhere League, UK Subs, Neville Staple Band, The Boys, Scream, Toxic Reasons, MDC and many more.
Since its inception in 1996 as Holidays In The Sun, Rebellion has strived to bring together the best punk and alternative music from across the world, and is still a family-run, family-orientated event which celebrates punk in all its forms.
