New York City ska legends The Slackers have today announced a stunning 12in single featuring two brand new songs.
New York Berlin b/w Tell Them No will be released digitally printed vinyl on Pirates Press Records.
The band, who’ve been making top-notch ska since 1991, will also be hitting the road for a tour of North America, Europe and the UK.
Their new 12in follows their highly acclaimed latest album Don’t Let the Sunlight Fool Ya (reviewed HERE), which was their first new full-length in six years.

New York Berlin is a commentary on friendship during changing times, with the moral of the song being to remember to love everyone around you while they are around you, as they might not always be.
Tell Them No is a song of empowerment and finding inner strength through adversity. Based on trombonist and vocalist Glen Pine and his nephew’s real-life struggles with bullying, it encourages listeners to not let detractors get the best of them.
Led now – as ever – by Vic Ruggiero, The Slackers have become standard bearers for modern ska and reggae, and the latest album shows they remain right at the top of their game.
The Slackers forthcoming UK dates are as follows:
