LA punks The Bronx have shared another song from their forthcoming album Bronx VI.
Watering The Well is the third track taken from the record, after White Shadow and Superbloom.
The songs are to tease the band’s sixth album, which will be released via Cooking Vinyl on August 27.
Vocalist Matt Caughthran said: “Watering The Well is equal parts rock ‘n’ roll rendezvous and back-alley Bronx beatdown.
“With an opening riff that doubles as a call to the wild, and a rhythm section dirtier than the Detroit gutter, listening to this song after midnight will 100% get you arrested.”
The band have partnered with several highly-regarded artists for their now sold-out Bronx VI 7in series, with Watering The Well featuring the artwork of Brian Montuori.
The internationally-renowned painter is known for his large scale, often animal-centric, pieces.
He produced the instantly recognisable covers of The Dillinger Escape Plan’s Miss Machine and One Of Us Is The Killer, and Dälek’s From Filthy Tongue of Gods and Griots.
Bronx VI is available digitally, on CD and on vinyl, and pre-orders are open now HERE.
Several limited-edition vinyl variants have already sold out, as has the Mirror Press series, which featured a collectible, handmade wooden box embossed with the band’s logo, with space for each of the sought-after singles.
Joe Barresi (Tool, Melvins, Bad Religion) produced the record at his House of Compression studio in Pasadena, California.
The Bronx formed in LA in 2002, and have become known as one of punk’s hardest-hitting live acts.
They have released five sequentially-numbered self-titled albums, plus three of Mexican-flavoured music as their alter ego, Mariachi El Bronx.
