Post-punk giants IDLES have today added a run of UK gigs to their previously-announced 2024 world tour.
The Bristol behemoths are hitting the road to celebrate their fifth studio album, TANGK, which is due to drop on 16 February.
Having returned to the live arena with a life-affirming gig at London’s Village Underground, the band have confirmed more UK dates in July, November and December.

Taking the power of love on the road, the new dates will see IDLES play to tens of thousands of fans, including London’s 10,000-capacity Alexandra Palace.
They’re also confirmed to play some of their biggest-ever shows in North America, with two nights each at the Hollywood Palladium and Seattle’s Paramount Theatre.
Pre-sale
Fans who pre-order TANGK HERE will receive access to a pre-sale for tour tickets. Remaining tickets will go on general sale from 9am on Friday 8 December.
Vocalist Joe Talbot says of TANGK: “I needed love. So I made it. I gave love out to the world and it feels like magic. This is our album of gratitude and power. All love songs. All is love.”
Released via Partisan Records, TANGK was launched with the single Dancer, which features backing vocals from LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy and Nancy Whang. Another new track is expected to be unveiled soon.
TANGK is the follow-up to IDLES’ 2021 album Crawler, which became their third successive UK Top 10.
