Irish punk veterans Stiff Little Fingers have today announced the dates for their March 2024 UK tour.
The band had already announced a two-night St Patrick’s Day visit to Barrowland in Glasgow on 16 and 17 March, which sold out within hours of going on sale.
Now they have added seven more dates either side of that weekend, starting at Nottingham Rock City on 11 March and ending at London Roundhouse on 23 March.
It’s a shorter tour than fans have been used to, but singer Jake Burns announced last year that SLF will be scaling back on touring, so the band will last longer.
The special guest for the tour will be former Sex Pistols bassist Glen Matlock, who has recently been playing live with Blondie.
He and his band The Philistines recently released a new album, Consequences Coming, to good reviews.
