Booze And Glory, one of the biggest bands on the streetpunk scene, have announced a rescheduled UK and Ireland tour.
It was originally meant to take place in spring 2020, but was cancelled as Covid-19 began to spread.
Recently reconvening after 20 months apart, they worked on four new tracks, to be recorded in October.
They are also putting the finishing touches to Booze & Glory, Vespa & The Londonians Reggae Sessions Vol. 2. After mixing, mastering and pressing it should be out this year.
Versions of London Skinhead Crew, Only Fools Get Caught and Leave The Kids Alone made up Vol. 1. The tracklist for Vol. 2 is not yet confirmed.
Formed in London in 2009, Booze And Glory started life as a straight-ahead salute to the rowdy Oi! bands of the late ‘70s and ‘80s UK scene.
An ear for a tune and hard-gigging ethos saw them quickly build a big underground following.
They’ve gone down a storm at festivals like Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas and Rebellion in Blackpool.
In 2018 fans voted them Best New Band in awards run by Vive Le Rock magazine.
But their most recent album Hurricane (reviewed here), divided opinion among fans. Many felt it was a shift away from their streetpunk roots.
Members of the multi-national band have come and gone. The current Booze And Glory line-up is frontman Mark, guitarist Kahan, bassist Chema and drummer Frank.
