Fast-rising streetpunk band Grade 2 have confirmed 10 new tour dates for 2021/22 – with more to follow.
The three-piece from the Isle of Wight have become one of the most highly-rated young bands in the streetpunk scene since forming in 2013.
After starting out as a covers band, they began to write their own material, and their debut album Mainstream View was released by German label Contra Records in 2016.

A second album, Break The Routine, followed on the same label a year later, and as well as proving to be a popular live draw in their own right, they picked up prestigious support slots with the likes of Dropkick Murphys and The Interrupters.
In summer 2019 they signed to US-based Hellcat Records, which released their third album Graveyard Island (reviewed here) later that year.
Like everyone else, Grade 2 – Sid Ryan (bass and vocals), Jack Chatfield (guitar and vocals) and Jacob Hull (drums) – saw their live work halted by the coronavirus pandemic.
But now they have taken to their social media accounts to share the news that they’re hitting the road this winter, with 10 UK dates confirmed and more to follow.
They wrote: “The long awaited return of live music is nearly over. We’re beyond excited to get back up there and do what we love. Whilst there is still a slight feeling of apprehensiveness with what might happen in the coming months, we have decided to present this tour staggered over multiple weekends through Dec, Jan and Feb.
“We’re coming back to some of our favourite cities, a few new places too. Stay tuned, we have more dates to follow. For now, grab your tickets, save the date and support live music any way possible!”
