Split Dogs have today snapped back with new single Rock ‘N’ Roll Business – the first taste of their forthcoming third album.

One of the most exciting new bands in punk, the Bristol four-piece burst onto the scene in 2023 with their self-titled debut album.
They followed it with last year’s Here To Destroy (reviewed here), which was named our album of the year for 2025.
Now album number three is on the way. Lead single Rock ‘N’ Roll Business barely pauses for breath as they roar through two minutes and 40 seconds of heads down, no-nonsense, high voltage strut.
Split Dogs’ relentless gigging over the last two years (including a massive tour with Gogol Bordello and shows with Bad Nerves and Teen Mortgage, among many others) has seen the band turn heads and win hearts wherever they go.
They have a headline UK tour this month, followed by one in Germany, then hit the festival circuit, including Rebellion at Blackpool in August, before heading off on EU dates with Canadian rockers Danko Jones in October.
Singer Harry Martinez says of the new single: “Rock ‘N’ Roll Business imagines the music industry as a classic British gangster film,. Dirty deeds, big egos and people you wouldn’t trust with your last ciggie.
“It’s tongue-in-cheek, but it’s also our big middle finger to the whole thing, ‘cos it’s mostly true. Half the time it’s run like a shady deal in a British gangster film, so that’s exactly how we made the video.”
The new album promises 13 tracks full of guitar licks, raspy hooks and cues influenced by the likes of Plasmatics, New York Dolls, Motörhead and The Stooges.
