Indie-rockers Ash and The Subways have joined forces for a limited 7in vinyl release, Oh Yeah Squared<\/em>, as they prepare to embark on a co-headline tour of the UK and Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Each band covers each other\u2019s Oh Yeah single<\/em> on a special 7in single which is strictly limited to 1,000 copies and will never be repressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ash vs The Subways<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Subways take on Ash\u2019s 1996 ode to summer romance – available to stream now – while Ash cover The Subways’ 2005 single dedicated to those teenage years, set for streaming release in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In honour of the original 7in singles which were on white (The Subways) and yellow (Ash) vinyl, this record will come in yellow and white in clear vinyl.<\/p>\n\n\n

The vinyl will be available on the forthcoming tour, with just a few copies available via the Alcopop! Records site HERE<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ash said: “To celebrate our forthcoming co-headline tour with The Subways we’ve each done our own take on the other band’s classic single Oh Yeah<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Subways Billy Lunn added: “It\u2019ll be a challenge going head-to-head with our heroes, Ash, but we\u2019ll give this no-holds-barred rock battle everything we have! It\u2019s such an honour to be sharing space on a 7in single with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We\u2019ve loved their Oh Yeah<\/em> since we were kids, so we hope we did it justice! And we can\u2019t wait for you all to hear what they did with our Oh Yeah<\/em>!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
