Millie Manders and The Shut Up, one of the punk scene’s brightest rising stars, have announced a new tour for 2023 – plus some rearranged dates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

MMATSU enjoyed a breakthrough year in 2022, including two headline UK tours, their first German dates, and prestigious support slots with Less Than Jake and Ferocious Dog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also wowed crowds and won lots of new fans at several festivals, including Rebellion, Kendal Calling and North East Calling (reviewed here<\/a><\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now the band – whose debut album Telling Truths, Breaking Ties <\/em>(reviewed here<\/a><\/strong>) was ranked No 3 in our best albums of 2020 (see the Top 30 here<\/a><\/strong>) – have announced more live shows, with new music on the way soon.<\/p>\n\n\n

The band comprises Millie Manders (vocals), George Boreham (bass), Joe Quigley (guitar) and Pete Wright (drums) are gaining a growing reputation for their energetic live shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fronted by Millie\u2019s staggering vocal dexterity and backed by grinding guitars, they have a huge amount of cross-genre appeal, with a sound that encompasses punk, ska and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their last release was a cover of the Little Mix song Sweet Melody<\/em>, like you’ve never heard it before!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
