SINGLE REVIEW: Bent Out Of Shape\/The Boldness split 7in (Demons Run Amok Entertainment)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Dutch streetpunks Bent Out Of Shape<\/a><\/strong> are back with a new split single – a split 7in shared with The Boldness<\/a><\/strong>, an Oi! band from Bali, Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both contribute two tracks to the record, which was due out on June 18 but is slightly delayed at the pressing plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bent Out Of Shape, from Frysl\u00e2n, kick things off with True Colors<\/em>, an upbeat slice of melodic streetpunk about the value of real friendship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Complete with gruff vocals and ‘woah-oh’ call and response choruses, it’s possibly my favourite song by them so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hot on its heels comes We Rule OK!<\/em> which ups the ante with plenty of melody and a great singalong chorus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
