The Bar Stool Preacher<\/a>s<\/strong> have announced a string of UK dates this September as they road-test songs from their long-awaited third album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Brighton band, who play an infectious mix of ska, streetpunk and rock ‘n’ roll, haven’t been able to tour since March 2020, when the UK went into lockdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now they’re champing at the bit to get back on stage and bring their new songs to an adoring audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the can<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

They have two excellent albums to their name, 2016’s Blatant Propaganda<\/em>, and 2018’s Grazie Governo<\/em>, and, despite a Covid-caused delay, album number three is in the can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They released the first taste of their new material last year on the Soundtrack To The Apocalypse EP<\/em>, which features the songs State Of Emergency<\/em>\/When This World Ends<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two songs are still available to download for free\/pay what you want on the band’s website HERE<\/a><\/strong>, though collectors might want to get their hands on a stunning 12in picture disc issued by Pirates Press Records<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now they’re set to unleash more of their new songs, and taking some great support bands with them – Riskee And The Ridicule<\/a><\/strong>, Call Me Malcolm<\/a><\/strong> and Aerial Salad<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Preachers will also make their first appearance at the North East Calling<\/a><\/strong> punk all-dayer in Newcastle on September 25, with a secret show pencilled in for the following day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Singer Tom McFaull said: “It’s time to start thinking about the future, and about having a fucking good time again. We’ve put together some incredible line-ups and we’re touring the UK this September!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New songs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

“We’ll be releasing new merch, playing new songs, as well as hanging out and making up for lost time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“With support coming from the legends in Riskee And The Ridicule, Call Me Malcolm and Aerial Salad, you know every night is going to be the party of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
