Fiddlehead<\/a><\/strong> – the Boston MA post-hardcore supergroup featuring members of Have Heart<\/a><\/strong> and Basement<\/a><\/strong>, among others – have announced their second full-length album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Between The Richness<\/a><\/strong> will be released on May 21 by Run For Cover Records<\/a><\/strong>, and finds Fiddlehead expanding on their dynamic blend of hardcore energy and catchy melody. Expect massive hooks, and some thoughtful, heart-searching lyrics from vocalist Pat Flynn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fiddlehead have shared the album’s anthemic first single Million Times<\/em> – the perfect introduction to Between The Richness’s sing-along-ready choruses and compelling words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The album is the follow-up to 2018’s Springtime & Blind<\/strong>, which followed Flynn coming to grips with the death of his father. The new record explores the ever-presence of grief, but with Flynn writing from a drastically different place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between The Richness<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

“These massive things happened in my life between the first record and this record,” he says. “It just so happened that I ended up getting married, I had a child, and it was around the 10-year anniversary of my father’s passing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The record is called Between The Richness because it\u2019s important to me to explore the weird feeling of happiness and sadness, because that\u2019s just where I am right now. My son\u2019s name is Richard and my father\u2019s name is Richard, so it\u2019s literally between the two of them – it\u2019s the richness of life and the richness of death.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
