Fast-rising streetpunk band Grade 2<\/strong> have confirmed 10 new tour dates for 2021\/22 – with more to follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The three-piece from the Isle of Wight have become one of the most highly-rated young bands in the streetpunk scene since forming in 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After starting out as a covers band, they began to write their own material, and their debut album Mainstream View<\/strong> was released by German label Contra Records<\/strong> in 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A second album, Break The Routine<\/strong>, followed on the same label a year later, and as well as proving to be a popular live draw in their own right, they picked up prestigious support slots with the likes of Dropkick Murphys<\/strong> and The Interrupters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In summer 2019 they signed to US-based Hellcat Records<\/strong>, which released their third album Graveyard Island<\/strong> (reviewed here<\/a><\/em>) later that year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like everyone else, Grade 2 – Sid Ryan (bass and vocals), Jack Chatfield (guitar and vocals) and Jacob Hull (drums) – saw their live work halted by the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
