Canadian dance-punk duo Death From Above 1979<\/a><\/strong> have released a new single, One + One<\/strong>, ahead of a forthcoming album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

DFA are bassist Jesse F. Keeler and drummer and vocalist Sebastien Grainger, and the single is out now via Universal Music Canada\/ Spinefarm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An unmistakably DFA-esque track, One + One is their first new music since 2017, and the first taste of their fourth album, Is 4 Lovers<\/strong>, which will be released on March 26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOne + One is a love song,\u201d says Grainger. \u201cIt\u2019s the karmic sequel to [debut single] Romantic Rights. My wife, Eva, became pregnant not long after we started working on the song and after hearing an early version she said, \u2018I wish this song was dancier\u2019. So I went back into the studio and re-worked the drums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
