Alternative rock band Skunk Anansie<\/a><\/strong> have announced new dates for their UK tour after having to reschedule it due to Covid-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The band were due to play 13 dates around the country in October, November and December, but like everyone else have been forced to rethink by the ongoing effects of the coronavirus global pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band, fronted by the initimable Skin, will now play around Europe and the UK in May and June 2021. And the good news for fans is that due to demand they have added new shows, including one at Brixton Academy in London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Skunk Anansie are best known for powerful ’90s anthems like Weak, All I Want and Brazen (Weep), and the Top 20 albums Paranoid & Sunburnt, Stoosh and Post Orgasmic Chill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They split in 2001, but reformed in 2009, and have released three new albums, most recently Anarchytecture in 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year saw them celebrate their 25th anniversary with the release of the 25LIVE@25 album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also released their first new music in three years with the track\u00a0What You Do For Love<\/strong>, which became an instant fan favourite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was followed earlier this year by the riff-raging\u00a0This Means War<\/strong>, whose stunning video was shot at a headline show in Poland in front of 800,000 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
