Rising London punk trio Girls In Synthesis<\/strong><\/a> have announced a new release date for their debut album after it had to be delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Now Here’s An Echo From Your Future<\/strong><\/a> was originally scheduled for release in May on the Harbinger Sound label.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In March they unveiled the first taste of the album, Pressure<\/strong><\/a>; one minute and 54 seconds of screeching feedback, tribal drums and unbridled rage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But as the Covid-19 pandemic took hold of the world, the band made the decision to delay the release of the album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few weeks on, they decided the time now feels right to unleash their sonic assault, returning with another new track, the caustic blast of The Images Agree<\/strong><\/a>, which is available to download now from Bandcamp, including an exclusive dub version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The album will now be released on 28th August, and the band hope to be able to play some UK dates in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Girls In Synthesis are John (vocals\/bass), Jim (vocals\/guitar) and Nicole (drums), and they have built a growing following with a string of very limited 7in singles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those songs were gathered last year for the compilation Pre\/Post: A Collection 2016-2018<\/strong><\/a> on Louder Than War.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, a few weeks after releasing Pressure, they are back with a second track from the debut album proper, which features their trademark driving bass and drums, plus unusually dissonant guitar which could be from another song altogether.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
