Feminist post-hardcore punk band Petrol Girls have announced a handful of UK tour dates to promote their latest album – with tickets initially available for just \u00a35.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band have been getting rave write-ups for their second album, Cut & Stitch which came out a few weeks ago – read our review here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now they have announced a string of UK dates for September, starting with an appearance at the Loud Women Festival in London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 <\/em>In a statement, the band, fronted by Ren Aldridge, said: \u201cWe\u2019re super excited to finally be doing a short UK headline run this September, to celebrate the release of our new album Cut & Stitch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cS<\/em>o far, people have been really sweet and positive towards the new songs and we\u2019re really excited to play them live. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere will be a limited amount of cheap \u00a35 tickets during the first two weeks of pre-sale which are explicitly aimed at folks that simply can\u2019t afford to pay more to get into a show, but still want to come out and have a good time.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tickets go on sale this Friday at this link<\/a><\/strong>. The fiver a ticket offer does not apply to the Loud Women Festival. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Petrol Girls’ new album Cut & Stitch (Hassle Records).<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Petrol Girls\u2019 incendiary new album Cut & Stitch was released via Hassle Records in May to critical acclaim, and was made Rough Trade’s Album of The Month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They\u2019ve already been touring Europe extensively with the likes\nof La Dispute, Milk Teeth and War On Women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Petrol Girls are also slated to play Roskilde Festival in Denmark this weekend and 2000 Trees Festival at Cheltenham next weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
