Indie-rockers The Big Moon<\/strong> have today announced a new single and their biggest headline tour to date this autumn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Why<\/strong>, taken from their critically acclaimed Top 20 album Walking Like We Do<\/strong> (reviewed here<\/a>)<\/strong>, is released today as their latest single.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band, founded in London in 2014 by Juliette Jackson, have also released the first part of their new podcast, discussing the origins and creation of each album track. You can Listen to Track x Track 1\u2013 It\u2019s Easy Then\u00a0here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite lockdown, it’s a busy time for the band. In response to the worldwide Covid-19 emergency, they have contributed to\u00a0Songs For The National Health Service<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0a one-off compilation album of exclusive, unreleased tracks by some of the biggest names in indie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All proceeds from the release will fund specialist PPE for hospitals and NHS key workers via Hoods For Heroes. There’s more information on that\u00a0here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last, but not least, following their UK support dates with Bombay Bicycle Club through January and February, and their own shows in late February and March, the band will be hitting the road for their biggest headline tour to date this October. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
