Pic: Darren Andrews.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\nAm Moron, their sixth album, will be released on their own Egg\nRecords on Friday, April 3, accompanied by a full UK tour, which is\nselling out fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Formed\nin Lancaster in 2006, The Lovely Eggs are a lo-fi psychedelic punk\nband consisting of married couple Holly Ross and David Blackwell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout\ntheir 13-year career, they have embraced isolation, shunning the\nsocial conventions of normal life and dedicating their band and their\nlife to the pursuit of what feels right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They\ncall out everything fake and plastic about the music industry and\ndemand you to re-evaluate on their terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first taste of the new album, This Decision, was released as 2020 lurched into life from its seasonal slumber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube aligncenter wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Lovely Eggs - This Decision\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dBolzVRz_r0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; sixth album.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Still Second Rate will be available on limited edition snot green  vinyl, and backed by the non-album track Jam Wild Jam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I Am Moron is their second album co-produced and mixed by Dave Fridmann\u00a0(The Flaming Lips, MGMT, Tame Impala) and continues their journey through Eggland into the unknown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its artwork is by genius artist and video director Casey Raymond, who has the unbridled talent to perfectly visualise The Lovely Eggs&#8217; And that isn\u2019t due to economics. It is by design.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Support for them is snowballing.
