An indie band tipped as ‘the next northern pop powerhouse’ have announced a release date for their new album and an extensive UK and EU tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Slow Readers Club<\/strong><\/a>, from Manchester, will release The Joy Of the Return<\/strong>, their fourth album, on March 20 on Modern Sky UK<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band have also shared their new single, All I Hear, the first track to be taken from the album, alongside details of a March tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s\nfull of their usual energetic blend of driving drums and infectious\nguitar lines, and builds through evocative verses and anthemic\nchoruses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Singer\nAaron Starkie explained: \u201cAll I Hear’s about a lack of agency and\nan inability to affect change. That there\u2019s something happening,\nand you have no choice but to go along with it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
