Pic: Gary Welford.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beans \u2013 the stage persona of folk singer<strong> Jay McAllister<\/strong> \u2013 released his 11<sup>th<\/sup> studio album, The Inevitable Train Wreck, on his own BOT music imprint in December (<a href=\"http:\/\/ipamusic.co.uk\/?p=1754\"><strong>read our review here<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It sees him\ngive his unique spin on&nbsp;Brexit, the environment, technology and more. It was\nmade in&nbsp;collaboration with&nbsp;Lewis &amp; Kitty Durham (of Kitty, Daisy\n&amp; Lewis fame) who give it an upbeat vintage \u201850s rock\u2019n\u2019roll flavour and\nwill be performing in Beans\u2019 band for his upcoming tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beans said \u201cMy last album was about the world on my\ndoorstep, mainly focusing on the birth of my daughter and my family life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cFor this record, I turned my attention back out towards to world, and it didn\u2019t look good. The sixth mass extinction of life on earth, divisive politics, the rise of artificial intelligence. Soon as the idea struck I knew who to ask. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019ve been a fan of Kitty Daisy &amp; Lewis for a long time, and first met them back in my Nambucca days when they were kids.
