Pic: Raymond Ahner.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\nbass player formed the band in the East Bay area of California last year with guitarist\nAndrew McGee and drummer Jason Willer (from Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo\nSchool of Medicine).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They released their self-titled seven-song debut EP for Pirates Press Records (<a href=\"http:\/\/ipamusic.co.uk\/?p=108\"><strong>reviewed here<\/strong><\/a>) in the summer, channelling vintage <strong>Motorhead, Hawkind and Iron Maiden.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new single <strong>Watch Your Back<\/strong>, being streamed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kerrang.com\/the-news\/listen-to-the-explosive-new-single-from-charger-rancid-operation-ivy\/\"><strong>on Kerrang! her<\/strong><\/a>e, will be available from the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shop.piratespressrecords.com\/\">Pirates Press webstore here<\/a><\/strong> from Friday, December 13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Freeman\nexplains the song thus: \u201cThe impetus to Watch Your Back is there is\nsurveillance everywhere.
