Bristol punk rock ‘n’ rollers Split Dogs<\/strong> today released another mouth-watering taste of their eagerly awaited third album Nice ‘N’ Rough<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Be Somebody<\/em> is the second song released from the record, which is due out on September 25 via Venn Records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The four-piece, who play full-throttle punk rock with a dusting of glam, are fast becoming one of the UK’s must-see live bands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They released their self-titled debut album in 2023 and followed it with Here To Destroy<\/em> (reviewed here<\/a><\/strong>), which was our favourite album of last year (see the top 40 here<\/a><\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n

Rock ‘N’ Roll Business,<\/em> released in March, was the first new material<\/a><\/strong> since then, and now they have followed with Be Somebody<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Singer Harry Martinez describes the new single as “a call to arms, a shot at anyone stuck on the sidelines, letting life pass them by”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This song tells you not to be the version of yourself that keeps waiting for life to happen. Get out there and go get yours! Stay sworn to fun and loyal to none.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Be Somebody<\/em> video was filmed at the 49 Social Club in Weston-Super-Mare, a working man\u2019s club Harry has been visiting for years, and the perfect setting for the band\u2019s explosive new single.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
