London glam-punk band The DeRellas have a new album written and ready to record – and they’re asking fans to help them make it happen.

The band – whose sound is reminiscent of the class of ’77, in that it’s fast, furious and instantly memorable – have three LPs under their belt already: Hollywood Monsters in 2009, Slam! Bam! In 2014, and Freakshow in 2016, plus a slew of 7in singles.

A new record, Something’s Got To Give, is written, and now they have launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund its recording and release.

Fans are being asked to pre-order the album, buy special bundles featuring exclusive signed goodies, and receive regular updates from The DeRellas’ world. Find out more HERE.

The DeRellas have built a growing following around the UK over the last few years, becoming a fixture at festivals including Rebellion and the Calling series, though like everyone else their live plans for 2020 were brought to a halt by the Covid-19 pandemic.

After a change in personnel which saw mainman Timmy DeRella take over on vocals, they released two new songs, Soho Hotel and Inner City Rock ‘N’ Roll, in June.

As a taster for the new album they’re perfect, channelling influences like the Sex Pistols, Ramones, Heartbreakers and New York Dolls into glam-tinged slices of punk ‘n’ roll.

Now, with founder Timmy on vocals and bass, Luca on lead guitar, Marky T (formerly of the Sex Pistols Experience) on rhythm guitar and Steve Grainger of Chelsea on drums, they are hoping to make their best music yet.
