Anglo-Aussie punks The Terraces are back with their first new song in five years – and there’s more on the way.

Greatest Story is the first new material they’ve released since their excellent 2015 album Empire.

It’s the lead track from their forthcoming third album, Unfinished Business, whose release date has yet to be confirmed.

In the best traditions of the band, who are based in Melbourne, Australia, it’s a gritty slice of melodic punk with plenty of punch and an infectious chorus.

The Terraces were formed in 2010 by Gary Buckley, the former frontman with highly-rated UK82 punks One Way System, and guitarist Dean Tsolondres. Brenton Perry (bass) and Henry Hollingsworth (drums) complete the current line-up.

Their self-titled debut album quickly made an immediate impression, and earned them a couple of appearances at Rebellion Punk Festival in Blackpool. Empire, the eagerly-awaited follow-up, came five years later.

Now fans are waiting with baited breath to see when they’ll unleash a third helping of top-notch street-punk.
