Italian streetpunk band Los Fastidios have announced a new album, recorded entirely while in coronavirus quarantine.

From Lockdown To the World will be released on 11 August on Kob Records.

It is 12 acoustic tracks recorded during the pandemic, whose videos were shared on the band’s social media channels during lockdown.

Many fans asked the band if they intended to make an album out of the songs, and the band responded.

They said: “These 12 tracks recorded during the two months of lockdown really helped us to overcome the difficult weeks of quarantine. At the same time, it was so nice to see how our music, shared on our social networks during the lockdown, was able to bring a smile to our friends, everywhere in the world, during these hard couple of months.

“At the end of the first Covid-19 emergency, many of you, dear friends, asked us to collect all these recordings in an official album to preserve the unforgettable and precious memories of them. We listened to you and we did it.

“We really hope this album can give to all of you, dear friends, new positive emotions, bring luck and cheer you up in every moment of your life.

“This album is made with the official homemade rough recording with the smartphone microphone, by the band musicians isolated in their houses, but every note was played and sung with the heart.”

The album contains some of the band’s best-known songs, including Joy Joy Joy, I Have A Dream and Reds In The Blue, as well as a ska medley featuring You’re Wondering Now/We’re Coming Back.
