Irish punk legends Stiff Little Fingers today announced the rescheduled dates for the March 2020 gigs they had to postpone because of the coronavirus outbreak.

Stiff Little Fingers have rescheduled their postponed March tour dates for September.

The band were disappointed to have to cancel all but three UK dates on their 20/20 Vision tour, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

One of those that bit the dust was their annual St Patrick’s Day gig at Barrowland in Glasgow, which brought to an end a 29-year run of playing the venue on that date.

That show has already been rearranged, for Saturday, August 1, as has the gig in Troon (now Thursday, July 30) and today the band announced new dates for the remaining eight shows.

The band said: “We are delighted that both (original tour supports) T.V. Smith and The Professionals can join us on these dates.

“All tickets will be valid for the rearranged dates, so, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR TICKETS STORED SAFELY! In the meantime, please all stay safe and healthy.”

Some of the dates are sold out already, but tickets are still available for Portsmouth, Northampton, Leeds and London.
