Scotland Calling, the punk all-dayer which was due to take place in Glasgow in April, has, unsurprisingly, been postponed due to the coronavirus emergency.

The event, headlined by the Cockney Rejects and also featuring The Dickies, was scheduled for the O2 Academy Glasgow on saturday, April 25.

It has now been rescheduled, hopefully with the same line-up, for Saturday, August 22. All tickets remain valid for the new date.

The original bill also included Steve Ignorant and a full band performing Crass songs, the UK Subs, Anti-Nowhere League, Subhumans, Argy Bargy, Gimp Fist, Dirt Box Disco, The De Rellas and 4 Past Midnight.

A spokesman for the organisers said: “Due to Covid-19 we can confirm the date of Scotland Calling 2020 will now be Saturday, August 22.

“Our options to re-schedule due to band and venue availability were very limited, and we hope that everyone will be able to make the revised date.

“Existing tickets will be valid for the new date and line-up confirmation will follow in the next few days. Stay safe and see you soon.”
