The seaside town of Scarborough is holding its first ever punk festival next month, featuring a star-studded cast of bands both old and new.

Scarborough Punk Festival 2020 will take place on Saturday, March 28, at the town’s historic spa.

Celebrating punk in all its forms, its line-up will consist of some legendary punk bands, as well as some of the most-talked-about upcoming bands.

The main event will be hosted at the iconic Scarborough Spa on the South Bay from 1pm-11pm, with separate events held at an intimate venue nearby.

Friday’s pre-show event will take place at the Cask Inn & Club, and will include sets from Extreme Noise Terror, Satanic Malfunctions, Anti-System, Mau Maus, War All The Time, Charred Hearts and Active Minds.

On Saturday the action switches to the Grand Hall at Scarborough Spa, where Skids will headline, with a supporting cast featuring Peter and the Test Tube Babies, Chelsea, The Vibrators, Menace, 999, Hot Rockets, The Kingcrows, The Ramonas, Hung Like Hanratty, and Anti-Nowhere League.
